Grant Line Updates | $30 M Allocated to CTH | American Rescue Plan
July 12, 2021 • Grants

We are very grateful to Governor Ned Lamont and the state legislature for allocating $30M through the budget process to support the humanities, arts and cultural sector.  Additionally, CT Humanities will be offering grants through the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Rescue Plan (ARP). We thank Connecticut’s congressional delegation for their work to secure and sustain arts and culture in our state through the ARP.

We are excited about the transformative effect these dollars can have on Connecticut’s cultural landscape and are working to ensure that these funding streams complement each other to best meet the needs of nonprofit cultural institutions. Announcements will be made in short order – stay tuned!
