This year CT Humanities has made tremendous progress in engaging partners and connecting our communities in new and innovative ways.  We developed sustainable strategies allowing us to use our resources efficiently to generate economic growth while supporting innovative humanities organizations.

How?  By focusing on three initiatives: Strengthening organizations. Building partnerships. Expanding digital access. We have expanded our partnerships with CT League of History Organizations to create professional development and granting opportunities.  We launched ConnTours our new digital app and website that serves a a mobile-friendly tour guide to historic and cultural sites throughout Connecticut. We partnered with the CT Collections Alliance to expand access to Connecticut’s digital archives and collections. Lastly, we continued to grow all our existing programs which include Book Voyagers, the Connecticut Center for the Book, Connecticut Experience videos,,, and -of course- our granting through the CT Humanities Fund.

Your contribution will help us sustain our efforts to promote Connecticut’s diverse history and cultural heritage organizations, create new Connecticut-based humanities content, provide literature and civic programs to our youth, and give businesses the fertile ground they need to lay down their roots. The health and vitality of our organization is only possible with donors like you.  Thank you for your support.
