Give Now
Since its founding in 1974, CTH connects people to the humanities through grants, partnerships, and collaborative programs. Over the years, we have worked hard to earn the public’s trust through responsible stewardship of federal, state, and private funds; peer-reviewed grant-making; online educational resources; and working to support, stabilize, and transform the cultural sector.
As we enter our 50th year, we appreciate the support of donors like you, particularly as we all think about ways to give back this holiday season. Your tax deductible donation ensures that Connecticut residents have opportunities to engage with public history, heritage, cultural events, and more for years to come.
Contact Cyndi Tolosa at ctolosa@cthumanities.org or 860.986.6704 with any questions you may have about making your gift to CT Humanities. Additional information about CTH can be found at our profile on Candid.

Donor-advised Funds

Gifts of Stock or Other Assets
Donations of stock incur no capital gains tax when given for charitable purposes. More information about making a gift of stock can be found here Stock Transfer Instructions.
Be sure to let us know when you make a stock donation so we can accurately record the gift on your behalf. Once the gift has been transferred to our account, our broker will sell the shares. CTH will then send you a letter acknowledging your stock transfer.
IRA Charitable Distributions

To qualify, the gift must be made directly from your IRA to CTH, and must clear your account by December 31 to be counted towards the current year’s taxes.
