Poetry Out Loud Competitions Approach

They’ve practiced for months and won their school championships. Now, a record 44 students from schools across Connecticut will bring poems to life for a chance to represent Connecticut at the Poetry Out Loud national competition in Washington D.C. This program is coordinated by the Connecticut Center for the Book at Connecticut Humanities and the Office of the Arts at the Department of Economic and Community Development.
