    The East Lyme Public Library and the East Lyme Historical Society seek to make the town’s archival collections and artifacts more publicly accessible by 1) hiring a consultant to assess the historical collections now scattered throughout East Lyme, create a plan for the new museum’s collections display, and develop a strategic plan and 2) hiring an intern to develop a preliminary plan for digitizing important collection components that can then be used create online 21st century based projects.

    This project will hire local teaching artist Carol Glynn and illustrators Marisa Kouroyen and Jess Rizkallah to design a 20-panel Storybook Trail demonstrating how the local history Bridebrook legend can encourage children and others who interact with it to think creatively about history and problem solving. The Storybook Trail will be displayed in Bridebrook Park for the public to view free of charge from approximately July 15, 2022 – November 30, 2022, and on various dates after that.


“We the People” Preview Showcase
