  • Organization City:
    Kent

  • Amount Awarded:
    $10,000.00

  • Fiscal Year:
    FY22

  • Grant Summary:

Our project is to hire a well-qualified Executive Director to not only rebuild the Kent Historical Society after the damage done by the Covid pandemic, but also to improve our connection with and outreach to our small rural community. We have managed to stay afloat during Covid, but did not do as well as some other organizations that quickly adapted to online presence. We need help with paying for the first year of what will undoubtedly be a higher salary than what we have been paying.
