With funding from a $4,999 Quick Grant, the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford is hosting 7 events from Sept. 2021 through Sept. 2022 that explore the insection of marginalized identities and STEM fields. Audiences will gain an understanding and appreciation of the contributions of – and unique challenges to – experts in STEM who identify as Indigenous, Black, LGBTQ+, Asian, neurodivergent, and others.
