Music can capture our senses, calling to mind images, smells, and feelings anchored in a certain time or place. The music of 250 years ago – when rebellion against British rule was rising – captures those images, smells, and feelings leading to the Revolutionary War. Help us commemorate that time as we welcome Richard Franklin Donohue and his music program “What A Glorious Crash They Made!” The event will take place on Saturday, July 12 at 3 PM in the Masonic Lodge, 30 Church Street in North Haven, CT.
This musical program will launch a year of programming culminating in the 250th birthday of our country. We hope you will join us as we celebrate! The Masonic Lodge is climate controlled, handicapped- accessible, and has plenty of parking on site. The program is free and open to all – if you have questions, please call 203-239-7722 or email us at nhhistsoc@gmail.com. Event details are also on our Facebook page and on our website: http://www.northhavenhistoricalsociety.wordpress.com.
