An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Sunday and Saturday, repeating indefinitely
Seven Hearths Museum offers visitors a unique view of life in 18th century Kent with period rooms furnished with antiques and historical objects. Historical exhibits are complemented by the story of artist George Laurence Nelson and his wife Helen Redgrave Nelson. For much of the twentieth century, it was their home and Nelson’s studio. Seven Hearths Museum features Nelson’s paintings that include flowers from their garden that visitors can view today.
Seven Hearths Museum is located at 4 Studio Hill Road on Route 7, two miles north of Kent, CT in the beautiful Litchfield Hills.
