The Ridgefield History Club will talk about the years around the turn of the 20th Century when Ridgefield was a prime summer escape for New Yorkers. On Tuesday, July 15, at 10 a.m., Jack Sanders will present a slide show of that era, showing some of the popular inns and hotels as well as the souvenirs that Ridgefield visitors might have taken home with them. All are invited to join in the discussion and to bring any old-time souvenirs of Ridgefield they may have. Space is limited at the Scott House, the Ridgefield Historical Society headquarters, where the History Club meets, so reservations are requested. The program is free.
