My Family’s Holocaust Story at Fairfield Public Library

Renee Bronner Pessin tells the story of her parents Sam and Helen, Holocaust survivors who met while imprisoned in concentration camp, reunited after the war, married and eventually moved to the U.S. Helen subsequently gave video testimony of her experience to the Shoah Foundation, and working from that, her parents’ personal stories and family photographs, Renee shares their horrific story with all who will listen, hoping to ensure that history does not repeat itself.
