Justice Dance Performance Project presents Book Dances, a powerful new dance theater work celebrating books as symbols of freedom, knowledge, and human connection, created in partnership with Hartford Stage. In a time of rising censorship, the performance honors the right to read freely through movement, spoken word, and striking visual design, with choreography by JDPP’s Ensemble and music by Robert Een. Following the premiere, additional repertory pieces will be performed, newly restaged for the 2025–26 season.
