Connecticut Oral History Project

The Connecticut Oral History Project (OHP) is an initiative of the Connecticut Oral History Collaborative. The goal is to assess and leverage the state's historical and cultural resources for residents, researchers, teachers, students, and other members of the public.

In addition to conducting an inventory of oral histories across the state to increase the legibility of and access to these resources, the OHP will embark on a long-term strategic plan. The OHP will offer technical assistance and training around collecting, digitizing, preserving, and integrating collections into public programming to document and narrate more inclusive stories of our past and present.
