The CT Summer at the Museum Initiative is back for 2022!

These grants for CT museums facilitate free admission for all CT children aged 18 and under & 1 adult caregiver between July 1 and September 5, 2022.

Application and Guidelines | Deadline extended to 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 6!

If those smiling faces aren’t enough to convince you, here are ten more reasons to apply!

10:  If your museum regularly does not charge admission, you are still eligible to receive funding!

9:   It’s easy to apply!

8:   Minimum award is $1,000!

7:   Grant funds are for general operating support, not project support!

6:   It’s OK if you don’t have exact visitation numbers—estimates are just fine!

5:   Easy reporting at the end of the grant period, too!

4:   Free publicity for your museum as part of statewide initiative!

3:   Marketing and branding for your museums to use in summer promotion!

2:   Be part of a systematic effort to track visitation across the state, allowing us all to better advocate for the importance of museums in CT!

1:   Be part of Governor Lamont’s initiative to provide unencumbered access to museums for families regardless of income!
