The clock is tick-tick-ticking… The Great Connecticut Caper launches January 4, 2015!

We can’t wait to release the first chapter of The Great Connecticut Caper, but until we do you can at least meet the author and illustrator. Both have done fantastic jobs of setting the stage for this serialized storybook for young people.

Yelizaveta P. Renfro is the author of a short story collection, A Catalogue of Everything in the World (Black Lawrence Press) set in and inspired by the American Midwest. Her latest collection, Xylotheque: Essays (University of New Mexico Press) combines memoir and nature writing. She earned a B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of California, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from George Mason University and a Ph.D. in English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

 

 

CTCaper_Enright_Ill_100x150Kearen Enright is an illustrator,  writer,  licensed wildlife rehabilitator, and the mother of four children.  Ms. Enright wrote and illustrated QUARRY STORY, a picture book about the history of the  brownstone quarries of Portland, CT, which was declared a National Historic Landmark in 2000. Kearen illustrated COURAGE, a chapter book written by Dr. Peter Gletzakos.  Kearen is currently working on a series of children’s books based on several of the real animals that she has cared for in her clinic, and she is illustrating  other people’s works, as well.
