IHI will launch an Asian American history, storytelling and identity development program for Connecticut’s Asian American families. This programming is urgently needed to support communities reeling from anti-Asian violence and promote racial equity for all people of color. We will empower new AAPI leaders by bringing multiple generations together to learn history, discuss theories of identity and trauma, and center participants’ lived experiences in local and national history.
