Unmuting focuses on discovering voice and being heard within carceral settings and upon return to the community. What does it mean for those affected by incarceration to find voice? Can those voices bring new awareness and ultimately affect change? This 60-minute performance of first-person stories from those currently in prison and those who have reentered the community opens the conversation about incarceration through the eyes of those who have experienced it.
