The Connecticut Storytelling Festival & Conference offers performances and hands-on workshops, featuring headliner, Kim Weitkamp, and a host of outstanding professional storytellers. This year’s festival features a panel on storytelling as an antidote to screentime, and a celebration of Appalachian folk music and stories by Adam Booth. Dan Yashinsky will present “Storycare,” storytelling that can be applied in a variety of healthcare environments, and Gwendolyn Quezaire-Prezutti will bring Zora Neale Hurston to life through the living history program. There’s something for everyone: educators, healthcare workers, historians, speakers, librarians, and YOU, if you love stories!
Save with first-timer registration! The festival is sponsored in part by the Connecticut Office of the Arts and Connecticut Humanities Council.
