The 43rd Annual Connecticut Storytelling Festival & Conference, held in downtown New London, offers performances and hands-on workshops with Peter Chand, Vijai Nathan and an engaging line-up of professional storytellers. Spoken word concerts will feature contemporary stories and folk tales from around the world, and workshops on humor, story and movement, and puzzle solving will round out the festival offerings. Nathan, a leading Indian American comedienne, will close the festival on Saturday night with her, “Good Girls Don’t, but Indian Girls Do”. The festival is sponsored in part by the Connecticut Office of the Arts, Connecticut Humanities, and the Eastern Regional Tourism District.
