Deadline Extended and Three Myths about CT Summer at the Museum Grants for 2022 Debunked!
June 2, 2022 • Grants

Application Deadline Extended:

Need the weekend to complete your application? We’ve got you! We have extended the application deadline to 11:59 p.m. on Monday, June 6!

Three Myths about CT Summer at the Museum Grants for 2022 Debunked:

MYTH 1: My museum doesn’t charge admission, the program isn’t for me
It’s fine if you don’t normally charge admission! You’ll get an award based on your budget size. These funds can offset any increase in costs associated with more museum guests, publicity and promotion, and more.

MYTH 2: My museum is open less than 8 hours a week, I’m not eligible
If you’re open less than 8 hours a week but will accommodate guests “by appointment” at other times, you are eligible!

MYTH 3: I don’t have a UEI number yet, so I can’t apply
If you are unable to obtain your UEI by the application deadline, please submit your application listing your UEI as “xxxxxxxxxxxx.” Doing so will not impact your award!

We will need your UEI by the end of the summer. Please email Lian Partridge at lpartridge@cthumanities.org once you have received your UEI so that she can update your grant file.

For more information on UEIs and how to obtain one, visit the DECD’s information page here.
