I ask that you reinstate $1.73 million in funding for the Connecticut Humanities Council, funding that was removed from this year’s budget by line-item veto last June after being included in the FY 2016-17 budget adopted by the General Assembly and signed into law.
I ask on behalf of myself and hundreds of organizations across the state that rely on funding provided by Connecticut Humanities, that you restore this irreplaceable funding source.
