The Museum of Darien project will update the inventory of the various historical documents, artwork and artifacts housed in the Museum of Darien, and will create a digital catalog that will be accessible to volunteers, researchers and visitors. The Museum of Darien will hire a specialist trained in museum cataloging to ensure the project is completed effectively and efficiently. In addition, the Museum will purchase appropriate technology (laptop, software) to complete the project.
The Mather Homestead will hire a qualified consultant to help us optimize our product offering for our target audience. We seek to survey existing and potential customers to understand which of our programs they value, and other programs they might like us to add. In addition, this project aims to understand gaps in the marketplace which are within our mission which we might fill, and where our programs might be redundancy with other organizations.
