‘Kara Walker: Harper’s Pictorial History of the Civil War (Annotated)’ at the New Britain Museum of American Art comprises iconic works by Walker that are based on, and presented in conjunction with, a selection of original Harper’s prints depicting scenes from the Civil War. Funding will support the NBMAA to offer programming for adult audiences to deepen the audience’s understanding of the complex subject matter in February 3, 2020 and March 15, 2020. Exhibit is open January 24 – April 19, 2020.
