In April 2022, HartBeat will present the Connecticut premiere of Bee Trapped Inside the Window, a new play by Saviana Stanescu that explores modern-day slavery’s effect on the lives of three women of diverse backgrounds and ethnicities in the leafy suburbs of Connecticut. As a complement, HartBeat, in collaboration with UConn Dodd Human Rights Impact, will produce an Encounters Dialogue: Bee Trapped Inside the Window scheduled for Saturday, April 24 from 10:00 am- 12:00.
