Join us for a digital exploration, via Zoom, of the magnificent estates and mansions of Long Island’s “Gold Coast” that are believed to have inspired The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald.* Led by Gary Lawrance of Lawrance Architectural Presentations in Stony Brook, New York, the program will include aerial photos circa 1926, as well as archival photos showcasing the interiors of the mansions. An architect and historian, Mr. Lawrance will share his extensive knowledge of the Gilded Age. A Q &A session will follow.
