The Life of a River: The Naugatuck through the Years

Each year, on September 16th, the Museum celebrates the birthday of Orton P. Camp, Jr. with a special lecture. Please join Director of Education, Rachel Lima, to explore the Naugatuck River through the ages beginning with the carving of the Naugatuck Valley and through Industrialization all the way to present. During this lecture, you’ll come to know the life of a River and those who have settled upon its banks around 11,500 years ago. Seating at Rose Hill is limited to 7 people and pre-registration is required. Masks are required inside of the Museum. The lecture will also be streamed via Facebook Live.
