Visible above the tree line in South Norwalk stands a granite stone building with a red top roof. This was the location of Dr. Alvin DeWitt Wadsworth’s sanitarium which he ran from 1904 until his death in 1941. Little information was previously available on Dr. Wadsworth or his sanitarium. This lecture will cover new information now available from contact with the schools he attended, maps, NewsBank digitized articles recently available from the Norwalk History Room at the Norwalk Public Library as well as personal conversations with the doctor’s living relatives.

This is a free event however donations are welcome. Visit: https://www.paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/1352281 to donate to the Norwalk Historical Society a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
