December 3 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Free
Slater Library, 26 Main Street
Jewitt City, CT 06351 United States

The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor has the perfect habitat for bald eagles. This program presented by Chief Ranger, Bill Reid revisits the history of our national symbol and describes the unique characteristics of this majestic creature. Over the past decade eagles have been returning to the region and nesting along our rivers and lakes. This update on the local population will let you know where to look and how to help. Join us and learn what TLGV is doing to assist in monitoring nests and the statewide midwinter eagle survey.
