Gene Pitney grew up in Rockville, Connecticut and came to be known as one of the most iconic voices in America. The “Rockville Rocket” charted 16 top 40 hits in the US – four in the top ten. In the UK he had 22 Top 40 hits.

This exhibit celebrates this iconic singer-songwriter and his varied musical collaborations. See snapshots and memorabilia of his life and career and get a glimpse behind his songwriting process.

All exhibits at Arts Center East are free and open to the public – donations welcome!
