Join Fairfield Public Library for a Zoom conversation with our neighbor, Chef Michel Nischan! Michel is a chef, cookbook author, food equity advocate and a familiar face around town as former owner of The Dressing Room in Westport and founder of Wholesame Wave food company and the Westport Farmers Market. He will be discussing his journey from celebrity chef to food company owner, and will also address food insecurity and healthier eating habits, including growing one’s own food.

Michel Nischan is a four-time James Beard Award-winning chef with over 35 years advocating for a more healthful, sustainable food system. The evening will be moderated by Rollie Wesen, co-founder and Executive Director of the Jacques Pepin Foundation.

Registration for this free program is required; a Zoom link will be sent to participants.
