Connecticut Notable Trees

Frank Kaputa will discuss Connecticut’s Notable Tree Project in this illustrated presentation. Established in 1985, the Project collects and distributes information about Connecticut’s largest and most historic trees, both native and introduced. Kaputa will share the history of the project, along with details regarding identifying and measuring trees. He will highlight Wethersfield and Cedar Hill Cemetery notable trees in this lecture co-sponsored by Cedar Hill Cemetery Foundation and Wethersfield Historical Society.
