Connecticut’s Old State House, 800 Main Street
Hartford, CT 06103 United States
Enjoy this trek through some of Connecticut’s most beautiful buildings with architectural historian, Christopher Wigren. Connecticut boasts some of the oldest and most distinctive architecture in New England, ranging from Colonial churches to Modernist houses. Mr. Wigren, Deputy Director of the Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation, will highlight some of the state’s most special places (including Connecticut’s Old State House) and the stories they convey in the Trust’s recently published book of the same name. This event is free to attend and registration is not required, but is encouraged, for this Conversations at Noon program.
