Free
Ridgefield Historical Society, 4 Sunset Lane
Ridgefield, 06877

As part of the Votes for Women: Ridgefield Celebrates the 19th Amendment program taking place in Ridgefield throughout 2020, there will be a series of discussions based on Elaine Weiss’ book The Woman’s Hour: The Great Fight to Win the Vote, which has been hailed as a “riveting, nail-biting political thriller” with powerful parallels to today’s political environment. In addition, the author will give a lecture about the book at the Ridgefield Library on Sunday, April 19 at 2 pm.
The Votes for Women series is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Ridgefield, Ridgefield Library, Ridgefield Historical Society, Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center, and Drum Hill Chapter of the DAR.

This program is supported in part by CT Humanities and the Friends of the Ridgefield Library.
