SHC’s Rick Petersen will once again recreate the atmosphere of 1776 Stamford in colonial costume, in proclaiming the words of the Declaration from the steps of Stamford’s oldest dwelling, the Hoyt-Barnum House! He is also accompanied by Frederick Douglas and Elizabeth Cady-Stanton to give their history-making speeches. Kick off your 4th of July in the proper spirit!
