Memories of Bissell’s and Other Ridgefield Pharmacies

The Ridgefield History Club, an oral history/discussion program open to all, will focus on Ridgefield’s past pharmacies, inspired by the recent closing of the town’s last independent pharmacy, Bissell’s, which had roots in the town going back to 1853.  Town historian Jack Sanders will lead the discussion of pharmacies and the products they sold over the past centuries.
