Connecticut Humanities

Connecting people to the history, literature, and culture of Connecticut

We’re about connecting people and ideas.

Connecticut Humanities encourages curiosity, understanding and critical thinking, providing leadership through grants, partnerships and collaborative programs. We produce programs throughout the state in libraries, schools and community-based organizations, and while they are all important, there is a common thread among them: connecting people and ideas.

Our Mission

Apply for a Grant

Grants go towards a variety of purposes for institutions in the humanities, like libraries, museums, historical and cultural societies and associations, and more.
