History Day in Connecticut 2015
March 30, 2015 • Features & News, History Day

Wow! We’re getting down to the wire with History Day in Connecticut competitions. This Saturday, March 28, the last two regional contests will take place – one at Capital Community College and the other at Manchester High School. After that it’s on to State Finals which are scheduled to be held on May 9 at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.

We are very proud of the students who are taking part in these competitions. They are upholding what Connecticut Humanities and the other History Day in Connecticut partners believe in – the importance of history so we understand where we came from and can pave a way to the future based on that understanding.

History Day in Connecticut is led by Connecticut’s Old State House, with support from the Connecticut Historical Society, the Connecticut League of History Organizations and Connecticut Humanities’ ConnecticutHistory.org website. Major funding is provided by Connecticut Humanities.
